The India Film Festival of Alberta 2024 celebrated its 10th anniversary with a powerful lineup of films, guests, and events across five Alberta cities. Acclaimed actors Shabana Azmi and Vikrant Massey led engaging Q&A sessions following screenings of Masoom and 12th Fail, offering audiences unique insight into their work. Director R. Balki also joined as a featured guest, and celebrated archivist Shivendra Singh Dungarpur hosted a special workshop on film restoration. With premieres, restored classics, and films in a range of Indian languages, IFFA 2024 marked a decade of championing Indian cinema and fostering community through storytelling.
